1. What exactly is Catellect?
Catellect is a connected care system for cats and humans. The Collar stays with your cat, while the UFO Home Hub adds context from the space around them. Together, they help Catellect understand their behavior, surroundings, relationships, and interactions, so you can understand what matters, care more naturally, and step in when needed.
2. What is the 30-day home trial?
You’ll have 30 days after delivery to experience Catellect at home. That gives Catellect time to learn your cat’s individual baseline and adapt to their everyday patterns. If it’s not right for you, you can return it for a refund.
3. What happens to the video from my home?
Visual understanding happens locally. The live stream is processed on-device, and any temporary visual data stays on-device and is automatically deleted within one hour.
4. What if my cat doesn’t like wearing a collar?
The Collar weighs just 8g, is made with a Japanese satin band, lasts up to 15 days on a charge, and has a patented magnetic breakaway clasp. Comfortable for cats, simple for humans.
5. What if I have more than one cat?
Catellect is built for multi-cat homes. Each cat has their own Collar, while one UFO Home Hub can support the household. Add Collars as needed, and Catellect learns each cat individually while paying attention to their interactions, including tension and conflict.
6. Can Catellect tell if my cat is sick?
Catellect does not diagnose illness or replace a veterinarian. It can notice meaningful changes, bring together the relevant context and evidence, and help you understand when something may deserve closer attention or a vet visit.
7. Is a subscription required?
The core Catellect experience works without one. A subscription adds Care Agent for more proactive care, unlimited conversations about the weirdly specific questions only your own cat can generate, and automatic interaction plans when supported by your setup.
8. How do refunds work?
Your preorder deposit is fully refundable before shipment. To request a refund, email support@catellect.com from the email address used for your preorder. Refunds are processed within 3 business days.
